Kelsey Mays

Kelsey is originally from Kentucky (yes, like the fried chicken) and studied Psychology at Transylvania University (also in Kentucky, not in Romania). Before joining Zanda, Kelsey worked across hospitality, executive support and recruitment in the US. She started at Walt Disney World in Florida, moved to the startup scene of San Francisco, California, and has now landing in Cambridge, England. Kelsey thrives in high-energy, detail-driven environments where no two days are the same. 

At Zanda she supports the Co-Founder as an Executive Assistant, focusing on operations, executive support, strategy, finance and research. Her day-to-day includes calendar management, client communication, candidate research and refining internal processes. She has worked at three recruitment agencies and balances strategic thinking with a deep understanding of people and processes – always keeping things moving and making magic happen behind the scenes. 

Life outside of work includes a dog named Nina, two cats named Meowi and Dali, lots of travel adventures and a love of tennis, sunny days, and reading in the park. She’s currently trying to learn Spanish and dreaming of her next beach holiday – hopefully somewhere in Hawaii.
