Jane fell into the world of recruitment in 2008, right after university—just in time for a recession (great timing!). Finance recruitment has been the focus ever since, working with companies of all sizes, from SMEs to FTSE giants, Private Equity, and Venture Capital backed and firms too.  

Since joining Zanda in 2021, the focus has been all about helping VC and PE-backed startups and scale-ups grow in London—though there’s been the occasional client in Europe too! 

Outside of work, life has always been busy. Once a keen rower (competing for both home city and university) and a singer (featuring on Children in Need and even performing for the Queen!), things look a little different now. Based just outside London in Hertfordshire, home life revolves around two kids and a dog, Oscar. These days, spare time is mostly spent in the park, at the gym, or out for a run!
