Who’s the business
Zanda is partnering with a high growth Series A, B2B SaaS FinTech in London. Currently at £6million ARR, the CFO and CEO are looking to hire their first Financial Controller to take ownership and delivery of all financial controls, processes and reporting.
As Financial Controller, you will be reporting to the CFO, whilst working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership team. One of the first objectives is to bring finance in house from an outsourced provider and take ownership of the financial operations of the business. The business operates on a Hybrid model, and they are in the office 3 days a week in Central London.

What experiences you will gain
- Ownership and delivery of all financial operations, controls, processes, management reporting, bookkeeping and bring finance in-house from an outsourced provider
- Business partnering with the Senior Leadership team and supporting the CFO with the identifying and driving actionable commercial insights
- Producing visibility on the key KPIs and identifying and analysing market opportunities for business growth
- Leading the month end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Identifying ways to continuously improve the systems and processes with an appetite to research and implement tools utilising AI
- Providing financial support across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when required
- Manage and optimise database queries to ensure high performance and accuracy in data driven decision making
- Supporting the CFO with ad hoc projects as and when required
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Tech background essential, ideally FinTech
- Experience within a high growth start up across reporting, controls and FP&A
- Desire to join a entrepreneurial business where you can drive improvements and support with providing actionable commercial insight
