Who are Zanda?
Zanda was launched in 2019 with a purpose to service VC and founder networks at pace, in atrracting and retaining exceptional talent to drive sustainable growth. 3 years on and Zanda has supported numerous tech startups ranging from Seed- Series D, including helping our guests Legl & Olsam to build their teams. Our team has grown and so have our services, and like you we are excited to scale our proposition further!!
Special Guests
Olsam was co-founded by brothers, Ollie and Sam, in late 2020, each with complementary skill sets. Ollie began his career at Rothschild’s before moving to Deloitte to obtain his ACA. He then spent time at US management consultancy Alvarez and Marsal in their PE performance improvement team where he supported large-cap PE funds with deep due diligence on target companies. With the spectre of COVID effectively shutting New York, Ollie's Brother Sam, decided to return home to co-found Olsam with Ollie .
Olsam is a platform turbocharging brands in the digital world, pioneering a marketplace first approach. It has a growing global team sitting across 3 continents, 15 nationalities, with deep eCommerce expertise, and has raised over $170 million from top-tier VC funds including Christian Angermayer's Elevat3 Capital, which counts Peter Thiel as a strategic partner.
Julia is a lawyer and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Legl, a Series B, SaaS and payments company that enables law firms to drive revenue, compliant operations and better client experiences. Legl is her second venture; she previously founded CrowdJustice, the award winning platform democratising access to the legal system.
Julia worked as a lawyer at Linklaters, and the United Nations. She has been named the Financial Times Legal Innovator of the Year, a Marie Claire Future Shaper, the Lawyer’s Hot 100, and one of Debrett’s most influential people in law
Dav Masaon | Zanda
Dav has over 18 years of recruitment experience and began his career progressing up the ranks at a global FTSE recruitment firm, working in leadership roles, recruiting across different sectors and providing strategic direction.
His desire to work with high-growth startups and passion to support businesses that are shaping the world for future generations, pushed him to co-found Zanda. Over the last 3 years he has worked with hundreds of ambitious startups building their finance, ops, people & talent teams.
